Darren then went into partnership with Luke Travis in early 2025 forming Ares Security and Training and bringing long term friend and colleague Frank Owston in as trainer

Mike Crompton
Operations Manager
Mike has worked in the security industry since early 2018 starting out as a Safety Steward before completing his SIA course in mid 2018 and working everything from Static Guarding to Door Supervision and Festivals, Mike joined Darren at his first company in 2020 and rose the ranks to become Operations Manager in 2022. Upon the formation of Ares Mike was re-cast as Operations Manager
Frank Owston
Training Manager
Frank has been in the security industry for many years serving numerous companies before starting up on his own. and becoming a qualified security trainer. Frank then went on to join forces with Luke and Darren as soon as the company was born and taking on the role of Training Manager here at Ares
